Communities with active "Adopt~A~Road" and "Adopt~A~Spot" programs reinforce the impression to tourists and potential business prospects of community pride and a people who are energetic and active. KOPB will erect highway signs, as funding permits, indicating the section of roadway under adoption and the name of the adopting organization. Trash bags will also be provided and may be picked up at the Ouachita Parish Public Works Department, located at 337 Well Road, West Monroe. The Public Works Dept. must be notified of your pick up so that trash bags will be gathered in a timely manner.
